Service protection

Elestio services can be protected against accidental deletion by enabling the Termination Protection feature:

When Termination Protection is enabled for a service, it cannot be terminated or powered downdown. from the Elestio web console, via the Elestio REST API or by using the Elestio command-line client.

In order to terminate or power off a protected service, one needs to first disable the Termination Protection for it.

Termination Protection has no effect on service migrations or upgrades. Also runningRunning out of the free Elestio sign-up creditscedits will still cause the service to be powered down,down unlesseven aif creditTermination cardprotection hasis been entered for the project.activated.
